Nowa Huta by tram
Nowa Huta is still an undiscovered district of Krakow. This part of Krakow is completely different than the beautiful historic Old Town's areas. Nowa Huta is called the second centre of Krakow, founded in 1949 and being an example of comunist planning strategy. You will see big buildings, beautiful in its austerely simplicity. During our tour you will have a chance to immerce in Socialist history of Krakow and see all monuments which can give you at least a slight insight into this hard time. You will get on a tram to feel like a citizen of Krakow and see the Nowa Huta’s Central Square, administrative centre of Steelworks, the Arka Church, as well as you have a chance to admire the Cistersian Abbey from 13th century and Wanda’s Mound.
We provide a pickup and a drop-off from your hotel, an English-speaking guide.
